FURNISHINGS & THINGS.

Awww...look! It's a 3-legged orange chair...
Abandoned @ the corner of 23rd & Florida.

So we took it home...

It's all alone.
But look how great it's already getting along with the stairs.
And the desk cabinet too. It fits right in. I wonder if we found it, or it found us.

This my friends, is our first piece of furniture. You like?

NOW WHAT DO I DO WITH IT?
Add some wooden tapered legs...like this?

Or add a rocker? For the pups.

Or just design our own legs?

What about socks! Does it need socks? After all, summer in San Francisco is cold...
Chair Socks @ designspray.de
so many decisions...

That wood wall is amazing, and I love the chair in front of it.

Chair socks! Ha!

Yay! Thanks. So much to do...that chair will most likely stay 3-legged for quite some time:(
But it does look sweet.

I love the adventures of the orange chair. The rocker base would be swanky, but I think it's cute the way it is.

i think that chair is a Sam Avedon chair...if you havent figured that out already.

To "restore" it properly, you should make it a 4th leg that makes very clear it's a restoration. Perhaps a wooden sailor peg leg? By the way, I have the orange eames rocker, it makes me happy just looking at it. I rock in it instead of going to the gym.
